When people ask what we do at Cotewell, the answer seems pretty straightforward.

We install epoxy floor coatings.

We offer a range of line marking and safety marking solutions.

We help create safer industrial workplaces.

For a long time, that’s how we saw our business too.

But one conversation with a customer changed the way we think about our role entirely.

A simple question with an unexpected answer

After completing a project a few years ago, we followed up with a customer and asked a question we ask after every job:

“What difference has the floor coating and line marking made?”

We expected to hear about safer walkways.

Better compliance.

A cleaner, more professional-looking workplace.

Instead, this is what they said…

“Our staff are more productive, morale has improved, and they’re proud of the space they work in.”

It wasn’t the answer we were expecting.

But it was probably the most important feedback we’ve ever received.

It changed the way we look at our business

This made us realise something.

We don’t just install floor coatings and line markings. We help create environments where people can do their best work.

Think about the industrial workplaces you’ve walked through.

That conversation encouraged a new tagline

We created a new tagline:

Because excellence isn’t created by a floor coating alone.

If the work we do helps make a workplace safer, more organised and somewhere people can thrive, then we’ve achieved far more than just installing a new floor or updating line marking.
