Pro’s & Con’s of our Mighty Line Tape

PRO’S:

1. 3 Year Warranty on Adhesion

This is an extremely long warranty and it gives confidence that this product is long lasting dependent on the application. Should only be applied internally to smooth, clean concrete.

2. Fast Installation and Minimal Downtime

Unlike painted floor lines, Mighty Line Tape can be installed quickly with almost no disruption to operations and you can do it yourself! It can’t get any easier than that.

3. Non-Hazardous Application

Painted floor markings often involve chemicals, solvents, or strong odours during installation. Mighty Line Tape doesn’t have any of these, think of it as a very strong sticky tape – can’t cause much harm.

4. 1.3mm Thick With Beveled Edges

This design helps:

• Reduce edge lifting
• Improve durability
• Slow down wear from traffic
• Allow forklifts and trolleys to roll over more smoothly

5. Easy to Repair

One major advantage over painted lines is how easy tape is to maintain.

If a section becomes damaged, you can simply remove that section of tape and replace it, no repainting entire aisles needed. Ongoing maintenance becomes faster and more cost-effective.

Mighty Line Tape can be removed without the grinding, repainting, or extensive surface preparation often required with painted systems.

CON’S:

1. Not Ideal for Harsh Traffic & Pallet Scraping

In environments with:

• Constant pallet dragging
• Heavy scraping
• Aggressive forklift turning

the tape can wear faster or become damaged.

2. Can Mark Easily from Forklift Tyres

Forklift tyres can leave black marks on the tape surface over time.

Although this doesn’t affect functionality, it can reduce the visual appearance of the floor markings and may require more frequent cleaning.

3. Designed for Internal Use Only

Mighty Line Tape is primarily intended for indoor environments.

Because it relies on adhesive bonding, outdoor conditions can reduce adhesions and shorten lifespan.

For outdoor applications, painted markings are generally more suitable, however we do have an external tape that could work for your environment also.
