When a customer contacted us about their warehouse line marking, they’d already tried just about every option available.

Paint had worn away.

Other line marking systems had chipped.

Forklift traffic had left tyre marks across the lines, making them difficult to see and leaving the facility looking untidy.

We Visited Their Site

Rather than recommending another product over the phone, we visited the site to understand exactly what was happening.

Every facility is different. Traffic volumes, surface condition, lighting, operating hours, and the way people and vehicles move through a site all play a role in determining what will work long term.

After assessing the environment, it became clear that replacing one floor marking product with another wouldn’t solve the underlying problem.

• Improve the overall appearance of the facility.

In short, they wanted something they could install once and rely on.

Projectors Were The Only Solution

Projectors was the last option for this customer and here’s why they worked wonderfully.

Unlike traditional line markings, a projector displays bright, highly visible lines onto the floor without relying on paint, tape, or other physical markings.

Because there’s nothing on the floor to wear away, the customers issues were immediately eliminated:

• No worn or faded markings
• No chipping
• No forklift tyre marks obscuring the lines
• No ongoing repainting or replacement

Meaning, consistent, highly visible line markings every day without the constant maintenance & replacement.

The Result

By installing line marking projectors, the customer eliminated the ongoing cycle of replacing worn out line markings.

With an LED lifespan of up to 50,000 hours – which is roughly 12 years if operational 12 hours a day. The customer now has a long-term, low-maintenance solution that’s designed to perform in a demanding warehouse environment.
